The 13th edition of the ITS European Congress concluded yesterday, after four intense days in Brainport, Eindhoven.
The Evoluon, venue of the event, hosted a series of inspiring activities, and ENSEMBLE was glad to be part of them.
The project booth at the ERTICO stand was visited by partners, stakeholders and interested members of the ITS community, who followed the general project presentation and learnt more through our Animated video.
Moreover, at the Automotive Campus in Helmond, Mrs. Marika Hoedemaeker (TNO, project coordinator) chaired the presentation of the project to the mayor of Helmond, Elly Blanksma-van den Heuvel, and the European Mayor delegation from other cities, such us Lisbon and Eindhoven.
The ENSEMBLE booth at the Automotive Campus was also visited by a delegation from Singapore, the organiser of the upcoming ITS World Congress 2019, and by a VIP tour with the CEOs of several Dutch companies.
3 other visit tours for the general ITS public were run, with an average attendance of 20 people per tour.
ENSEMBLE was also presented to the audience during a stand presentation by Frank Daems, project coordinator from ERTICO, who mentioned the importance of the project for the Vision2020 and the future goals for truck platooning.
