The city of Hamburg has hosted the 28th ITS World Congress from 11 to 15 October 2021. The conference’s theme, "Experience Future Mobility Now", matches the mission and vision Hamburg has already been embracing for the last few years. Hamburg has been using AI and other digital technologies to improve traffic flow and engaging in several ITS initiatives to fully transition to the ‘smart city’ status by 2050.
The city is one of Europe’s models for urban mobility and logistic, hence the perfect location for this event, which gathered thought leaders, developers and decision-makers from the automotive, public transport, logistics, IT, mobility and telecommunications sectors to exchange mobility solutions for the future.
This Congress has been the channel to connect people, processes, data and technologies to revolutionize cities and communities, raising awareness among policy makers, experts and the public.
